WORLD BOOK

I chose the mammal the squirrel.   I liked the easy way it was written with just enough info to cover the topic.   I also liked the idea that students read along  with the article as information is played for them.
The World Book Information Finder provided more information that was a higher readibility level.  But again students could listen to the article which is invaluable for children struggling wih reading!
The online reference gives you specific articles but it also gives you primary and secondary references.  The outline of the Article is very helpful.  This would be very usable from Middle School students through adults taking classes.

The Spanish  World Book can be of great use to  Spanish children and adults who are looking for information  in both  cases it gives the patron access to the information  easily without having to cope with the language barrier.  THis will be invaluable to our libray in helping Spanish speaking patrons find the information they need.

Good report, Linda. We hope you will take a few minutes to explore the special features in each module, especially Kids' World of Animals, Compare Places, and Games & Activities. Thanks for your comments.
