Lesson II LEARNING EXPRESS

I was in education for 30 years and taught 7th and 8th language arts. I took a 7th grade Comprehension test. These test will be a great help for students who would like to prepare for Dakota Step Tests. The format is the same . This inforation is also valuable to a teacher, tutor or parent who wants to help a child improve comprehension. Our library can show patrons this program and how to take advantage of these tests. I have in the past used the Learning Express so my high school students can take practice ACT tests. These tests are in a format that allows everyone to read and understand the scoring and what the answers should have been. The familar format of these tests are presented in such away that children, and young adults know how to approach the test.

Job Skills: I wish I would have been able to use this when I was teaching. It is a comprehensive program that allows patrons to work at their own pace through a comprehensive job skills course. I chose the resume writing and I was very impressed with thoroughness of the lessons.
I especially liked the format of these lessons.
