I looked up Secret Service. There were several books that contained references to secret service but only a few that were actually about Secret Service. I used many different ways to search but was not impressed with this program as I have been with the other programs.

Complete Idiot's Guide to American History Part 3 Chapter 11
I only chose a couple. I do not want the reading level to be difficult for the students. I also wanted the information to be easy to find.
I had 65 titles pop up when I typed in Nebraska. Not all books will fit the criteria but the students should get enough material from the remaining books. Much of this literature deals with Native Americans.

This collection was developed as a way to expand a public library's non-fiction holdings. Search results do offer helps for tweaking the search, but it is probably less intuitive than other databases. Still, it's available for patrons 24/7, 365. Thanks for your comments here, Linda!
